Searching for a business is hard enough.We know because we've been through it.We wished there was a tool to help. So we decided to build it... a tool to help self-funded searchers increase the chances they successfully sign on the dotted line and acquire a business.

The Current Way

The search process is a messy process. An off-the-shelf CRM, lots of emails, so many listing sites, so many brokers, too many bad deals, and finding the right "deal team."The "job" of a searcher is to:

  • Source deals

  • Review deals

  • Identify your “buy box”

  • Identify great opportunities

  • Track deals

  • Make offers

  • Do due diligence

  • Hire a deal team - financing, QoE, legal, etc.

  • Close a deal

And it doesn't stop there.

Along the way, lots of other things come up (e.g. find brokers, find owners, come up with questions for seller meetings, understand risks, create financial models, find investors, hire a deal team).As self-funded searchers, it's often your first time doing all of this. And the cost of getting it wrong or not closing on a deal is high.Right now, these happen in lots of places:
